Plagiarism is unlawful act that simply taking or stealing other people's ideas and content. Plagiarism also presenting other's work without their permission and not give any credit to them.Everyone should avoid the plagiarism.

WHAT IS NOTE TAKING?

➤Writing down the information from lecturer with our own word to make it easier to read and understand

WHY WE SHOULD TAKE THE NOTES?

➤Taking notes helps you to focus and pay attention to what lecturer said

➤Help us to organize and process data and information

➤For repition of material

➤It also can improve our listening

➤We can use it for revision 



HOW DO WE TAKE THE NOTES?

➤Use own creativity and words

➤Date and the labels or the title

➤Make it as simple as possible as long as you can understand

➤Write the important point

➤We lose the information what we hear if it is not reviewed within a few hours

➤We don't have enough time to absorb all the information given by the lecturer in class

MEMORY VS BRAIN

~Memory is an individual's ability to store and remember any information and experience. It can be thought of in general terms as the use of past experience to affect or influeance current behaviour.Memory may be devided into short-term and long-term memory.

~Brain is the central and one of the largest and most complex organs in the human body. It made up of more than 100 billion nerves.It controls most of the activities of body,processing,intergrating and coordinating the information.It receives from the senses organs and making decisions as to the instructions sent to the rest of body.

3 KINDS OF MEMORIES

Sensory Memory

~Temporary storage of information  through 5 senses.The infromation from sensory memory will transfer to short-term memory.If you not pay the attention the information will lost

Short-term Memory

~Short-term memory is a process that allows the information to be received and stores within short period of time.It has limited storage.The information stored in this memory system will be lost

Long-term Memory

~Long-term memory is a memory of an information in long period.Every information in this memory will remain but relies on the ability of a person to recall it

MEMORY STRATEGIES

Spaced practice

Involves space time over some period of time for studying.Instead of studying  the night before an exam,study for a week before the exam.It will help you to focus and remember the information that have you learned in long term.

Break Tasks Down

Instead of cramming by studying all material during one long stusy session, study only one or two chapters during shorter, spaced study periods. This will help you stay focus because you do not feel rushed

Repitition

To get perfect learning,you should do it repeatedly and do an exercise many time,it will help you to remember the information easily and make it into your long term memory.

CONCENTRATION

Concentration is the ability to direct one's attention in accordance with one's will.It is the ability to focus the mind in one subject,object or other else.Concentration also important when you are reading,listening and studying.

Learning Style Inventory

⚪Visual-I learn by reading and seeing the pictures.Its easy for me to understand and                           remember things by sight.
              -I can picture what i'm thinking
              -Use colour and some layout
              -Use flaschcard to learn new word
              -i would like to draw pictures to help explain new things

⚪Auditory-I learn with sound and music
                 -find the favourites song to help to remember somethings
                 -read out loud when possible,hear the words and understand them well
                 -study with a friends and talk about the information and hear it

⚪Physical-I prefer using my body,hands and sense of touch
                      -i would like to use physical object as much as possible to learn something
                  -do physical activities as much as possible
                  -keep in mind as well as writing and drawing diagrams in physical activities

My strong preference to learn a certain way is I would like to have a proper study schedule and ask someone when i don't know about something.While with auditory preference,I'm more interested in hearing information from someone,so i can ask whenever i want.Other than that,while with physical preference,I would like to use and learn with the objects as much as possible,so it can help me to remember it easily

      How my learning style works is I more prefer with visual learning style.It help me to remember about something with something that interested me such as mind maps,colourful important contents and a creative art.From my own life experience,I always make a note with colourful that can remind me about the main content,it also help me to improve my creativity.While in academic experience,when i'm in the school,i always do the mind maps and draw something that can attract me to read and remember that.My teacher also do a contest for the most beautiful note,and give a reward to make the students like to read and help them in their study
